Fancy a swim?
You’re in luck, as Landskrona offers several child-friendly places to swim, as well as indoor and outdoor pools.
Lagunen, sea baths near the town centre
A five-minute walk from the town centre is Lagunen, a swimming spot with a shallow pool, perfect for young children. The beach also has a playground, a skate park, toilets and an outdoor gym. A stone’s throw away is the miniature golf course.
Citadel swimming baths, lido
Right next to Lagunen is our lido, Citadel swimming baths, which is filled with purified sea water from Öresund. Designed by architect Gert Wingård, the baths feature a children’s pool with a water carousel, bubbles and a fountain room, a 50-metre pool and a diving pool with 3, 5, 7 and 10-metre diving boards.
Borstahusen
A few kilometres north of the town centre lies the picturesque, old fishing village of Borstahusen. You can swim from the pier or the sandy beach and restaurants, a playground, an ice cream kiosk, the sale of fresh fish, toilets and the Pumphuset cultural centre are also to be found here. Don’t forget to bring crab rods and buckets, as Borstahusen harbour is perfect for crab fishing.
Just north of the harbour lies Lill-olas beach, which has a jetty and sandy beach. The jetty has a lift for people with disabilities. There is also a playground, a street kitchen, an outdoor gym, toilets and barbecue areas. The dog beach is located just north of Lill-olas.
Karlslundsbadet, indoor pool
In the water park, you get to experience streams, slides, jetstream and underwater bubbles. There is also an outdoor pool, which is wonderfully warm, even in winter. The children’s pool is full of bubbling, splashing and spraying in 34-degree water.
