Giulia Testa is an Italian conservationist based in Landskrona, who is specialized in large carnivore law and currently works in the field of human-wildlife coexistence across Europe.

After missing for decades due to human persecution, wolves are coming back into our landscapes, including in Skane. This natural return brings challenges and fears, as people are re-learning to share the space with this animal. In this lecture, Giulia Testa will speak about coexisting with wolves in Italy, that, with almost 3500 wolves, is the country with the highest density of wolves in Europe. In this lecture, you will learn more about the wolf, its behavior, and discuss perspectives and best practices to co-exist with this ecologically important animal. There will also be a short intervention by Bosse Johansson from the Swedish Carnivore Association.

The lecture will be held in English.
